Ocean Racing Ski Paddles
The range of extra-light flatwater kayak paddles are an excellent choice for ocean skis when paired with a softer shaft. Brača-sport developed the 19KAL soft shaft for ocean ski paddlers and also offer the 21KAL shaft for those who prefer a smaller shaft diameter. Unlike their flatwater shaft options both 19KAL and 21KAL shafts offer 10cm adjustment and the nylon clamp system for corrosion resistance in the rigours of saltwater paddling. The nylon clamp system is adjustable to 60 degrees left or right.
Brača XI Van Dusen Extra Light

Brača XI Van Dusen '92 Extra light blades are manufactured using a core system to maintain blade stiffness while reducing resin consumption and hence reducing weight.
The XI blade has a special twisted tear-drop shape has more volume at the tip, which facilitates a powerful catch while tapering out earlier than the traditional teardrop, facilitating a clean exit. It encourages a more aggresive J-stroke than other Brača-Sport blades. Paddlers report increased stability in rough conditons due to the stronger catch and the earlier water shed lends itself well to running a high cadence stroke on a lower volume paddle. This is why the XI enjoys such popularity among the downwind racing community.
The 705cm2 and 720cm2 models are the most commonly chosen in either a 208-218cm or 210-220cm length.

Brača IV Extra Light

The Brača IV Extra light blades are manufactured using a core system to maintain blade stiffness while reducing resin consumption and hence reducing weight.
The Braca IV model tends to be the weapon of choice for ocean ski paddlers from a K1 background, due to the shape having more volume in the middle of the blade than the XI, which allows them to still find power in the middle of the stroke when sloppy condtions dont allow for a perfect catch.
The 705cm2 model is the most commonly chosen in either a 208-218cm or 210-220cm length.
