Brača-sport now offer their two most popular paddles in their range as speciality surf paddles for those looking for a little more durability and impact resistance to cope with the surf zone and race conditions. These blades can be paired with a new 22KAL shaft designed specifically with surf racing in mind.
Brača XI Van Dusen Surf
Stocked sizes: 705cm, 720cm & 735cm
These Brača XI Van Dusen '92 Surf Ski blades have a special kevlar reinforcement in the most stressed areas, which makes them suitable for paddling in the surf zone. When paddling on big waves, these blades have to withstand reverse forces when bracing or paddling backwards.
Surf Ski paddling requires a softer but more durable shaft, which has to be light at the same time. All Brača XI Van Dusen '92 Surf Ski paddles are available with the new 22K shaft. This allows adjustment of overall paddle length (within 10cm range) and blade feather angle from 0° to 70° right or left. The system also allows you to disassemble the paddle into two parts for easy transportation. The 705cm2 model is the most commonly chosen in either a 208-218cm or 210-220cm length.

Brača IV Surf Wing

The Brača IV Surf Ski blades have a special reinforcement in the most stressed areas, which makes them suitable for paddling in the surf zone. The same characteristics are required for fishing ski paddlers so we recommend pairing these blades with the more durable 19K shaft.
The 735cm2 blade is the most common choice in this model usually paired with a 210-220cm shaft. All Brača IV Surf Ski paddles are available with the new adjustable 22K shaft system. This allows adjustment of overall paddle length (within 10cm range) and blade angle from 0° to 70° right or left. The system also allows you to disassemble the paddle into two parts for easy transportation.
